Hope you all are doing good. Sorry for the delay in the post I was just busy with personal stuff. As you all know I am from India. My grandma used to tell me many beauty treatments using just household products and mainly plant derived products. Even though I used to think thats all crazy I obeyed  her and she would apply paste on my hair and face. They did not smell good and does not show any difference in a short period of time. I remember scolding my grandma for doing this to me but now I know the worth of the herbal treatments. May my grandma rest in peace I still remember her when I follow some of her DIY face pack and hair mask. 

Natural products are the best thing you can provide your body, hands down. The cons of natural products is it takes commitment and time to see results. In this busy world people need results asap so they prefer chemical and other methods. I know what you think , ya I use chemical products as well. But I make it a point to use natural products when ever I can. So enough of blabbering this post is going to be DIY treatments.

DIY series 1:

Hair mask for follicle:

As you all know the follicles have different growth stages and sometimes they go to sleep stage which causes hair loss. So we have to revitalize the hair follicles for them to start the growth stage. 

Things needed:

Onions and lemon

                        

Method :

Peel the onion ( preferably Spanish onion) and cut into chunks. Then blend it in a blender. You can also add lemon juice to reduce the odor  Once its blended take a cotton ball and just dip in the onion juice. 

Apply it on the roots you should feel a tingling sensation or feel heat on the head don't be scared its common. Leave it for 20 mins and then wash the hair in regular way. 

Use:

Onion juice helps in hair growth and vitalizes the hair follicles.

Clinique all about eyes cream review - good or bad

Hello my lovelies

If you have read my previous posts you would have known that I was using Clinique all about eyes rich eye cream. I started developing wrinkles under and corners of my eyes and dark circle. I started using it by May and I told I will do a review on it. Hence the review.

About the cream it is just like butter and is so moisturizing. I apply it in morning and night. My skin feels soft and hydrated in the morning. The cream have reduced my darkness around my eyes and reduced puffiness. The wrinkles were deep before but now its getting better. I still have wrinkles around my eyes but not deep. I still have fine lines in the corner of my eyes no improvement in that. 

It has been keeping my under eye area moisturized. I know everyone loves this but it did not do wonders for me. For the price 58AUD I thought it should do more things than just moisturizing. I am just disappointed with the results. I have half of the bottle left. So I am going to finish it and then will post the update about the results. 

                      

The top pic was taken on June and the bottom one in August. As you can see just a fine reduction the depth of the wrinkles and darkness around the eye has reduced. I took pics to compare. Frankly till now I wasn't amazed with the results. Lets see if any changes occur.

Review of Lakme sun expert

Hi everyone
This is a short review of the product which is essential for summer. This is a sun block cream from the brand Lakme. The product name is Lakme Sun expert. The product is from Indian brand and I bought it from chennai. I have been using this product for one year now. And I am loving the product.

The product is white in color. The cream smells amazing and does not leave the skin oily. Will totally recommend it. Its not waterproof and has a bit a shinny particles in it but very hard to notice it. 

I would give this product a 4/5

My morning routine- combination skin type

Hi everyone 

This is going to be my morning routine. The products I use every morning and have been liking it. Let me start with my skin type I have combination skin. My face is pretty dry, sometimes when I stand in sun for a long time I tend to get oil near my chin and cheek area. The area near my eye is super dry and have been causing deep wrinkles. For the past few months I have been having breakouts this may be use to stress mostly or change in climate or lifestyle. So to conclude I have combination dry skin. 

I try to follow the three steps for maintaining healthy skin

        Cleanse 

        Tone

       Moisturize

I have been using these products for more than a year so I love these products. The products are listed below.

CLEANSING: 

PONDS PURE WHITE CHARCOAL CLEANSER

I have been loving this cleanser and had ran out of 3 tubes now. This product is amazing. It has charcoal in it which helps to clean the dirt and removes oil from the skin. You have to need only a small amount as it lathers well and cleanse well. I bought this from India. The cream is grey in color because it has charcoal. I would recommend this product for oily skin for deep cleansing. 

TONER

NIVEA VISAGE STAY CLEAR PURIFYING TONER

I am currently using this toner. I keep changing toner because I like to try different toners. I did not find my holy grail toner yet. This product is good and leaves my skin soft and bit moisturized. 

               

MOISTURIZER:
BANJARA'S MIX GEL MOISTURIZER
This is a gel moisturizer which contains fruit mix as ingredients. Banjara's is a Indian brand which is green line which uses fruits in their line. This is so good, its feels like super hydrating water in gel form on your skin and is smells so good. This helps to nourish the skin throughout the day. I am loving this it acts as a primer when you don't want too much makeup on. 

I would use scrub twice a week just to remove dead cells. The 2 products which I am using for 3 months now are

BIOTIQUE BIO PAPAYA SCRUB

From the name you can guess its a green product. This is a Indian brand uses herbs and fruits in their cosmetic line. This product contains papaya and helps to whiten your skin. The texture is grainy and smells like fruity flavor. It feels like clay mask with grainy texture. Its thick and you will need only small amount. Excellent product love it. 

BIORE PORE UNCLOGGING SCRUB

I use this scrub when I am having breakout since it has salicylic acid which is good for acne. I have been using this product for more than a year now. Love it but it stinks when I apply it on the skin but its normal. The stinking sensation is due to salicylic acid and it happens when the beads melts. I also love Biore toner and I have used them together when I was having acne problems. Love the product.

DIY PROJECT TO RELAX

Hi everyone todays post is a DIY project. Its very easy to make and its lot of fun. 

Things needed:

Plain flour

Glue ( white colour glue)

Water

Method:

In a old bowl combine 1 small cup flour and 1/2 cup of water. Mix to get a thick paste consistency. Then add 1/4 of flour and 1/4 glue mix together. The final part is a smooth dough. 

I am going to make a canvas with flowers. For that make small balls of dough and flatten it by pressing with you hand. To make shape of petals squeeze the end of the flatten dough. This will create shape for the flowers. 

Then try making different shapes as possible. Once you have made the whole bunch its time to stick them on canvas. 

Leave 24 hours for the dough to dry.

Once dried paint the flowers and leaves with watercolor.

Tada a perfect decor item is ready.
