Review of Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume

Hello everyone

This post is going to be the mini review of Marc Jacobs daisy perfume. First of all , I have read awesome reviews about this perfume and thats the reason I bought it even though it was expensive. I bought it in Priceline for AUD89. It was a 125 ml bottle. The packaging was good. Its smells good like a floral scent. Its mild and very refreshing. But the staying power is not good. It did not even last for 5 hrs. Even the Charlie perfume which is cheap lasts whole day. I was excepting a bit more staying capacity. Other than its good. There is nothing uniques about it . There are many affordable perfume which have the same scent and lasts longer than Daisy. I don't know what the fuss is about the perfume.  Maybe the brand name can a reason. I am not a lover of branded products. Quality for the price you pay is my theory. This is my opinion.

October Favorites 2013

Hello my lovelies
Hope you are doing great. I was stuck with work so I couldn't post anything. Now I am back.
This is my October favorites. There are few products which stood out of the others and I was using them a lot this month. So lets get started.

1) Essence lip gloss 
I bought two colors me and my ice cream and pretty witty. 

These are nude and berry color lip gloss. They are pigmented and lasts for a pretty good time. They are little bit sticky and has no smell. 

2) Garnier eye roll

I have been using this in the morning and it has reduced the puffiness but no change in the dark circle. 

3) JLo Glow perfume 

I am loving this perfume. It smells so good and lasts for long time. An affordable perfume with a long lasting scent. I bought it from Priceline. Sometimes they have perfumes in sale and affordable price.

Priceline Haul

This is a Priceline haul yaaaay. Priceline in Australia is having a half price sale on Maybelline products and 20% off in many other brands. This means its time to spend money which is worth it. As you all know cosmetics in Australia cost a lot. So I went and bought a few products an use the sale.

1) Beauty essentials BE mud mask 

I have been looking for mud mask to use and I finally found the right one for me. It has strawberry extract, rosemary extract and yarrow extract. All the BE products are paraben free. I like to use products with plant extracts.

Price: 2.49AUD

2) BE clean gentle eye makeup remover

I am not a big fan of makeup remover because I usually cleanse my face to get rid of makeup. But recently I have been using mascara a lot and its hard to get rid of mascara with cleanser. So I purchased it. I tried it once its not irritating and did not have any smell. 

Price: 2.49AUD

3) Maybelline Fit me foundation in 320

I bought this because its half price which a gain to buy. The normal price is 19AUD and I bought it for 9.47 AUD.

 4) Savy grapefruit nail polish
I love this color. Its gives a healthy look to the nails with a pinkish color. Love it

 5) Australis Color inject mineral lipstick in color tango
Its a golden glittery orange color.

6)Essence top coat nail polish

Makeup on a budget post 1

Hi everyone

Hope you all are doing good. This post is about makeup under budget. I am a person who likes to save money on makeup especially in Australia because all cosmetics are expensive here. I like to spend money on skincare and buy the very necessary things from branded ones. So I am looking for alternatives which cost me less fortune in makeup. In short quality makeup in affordable price. I went to Priceline and Target and got some products which were of good quality and less price. There are many inexpensive brands in Australia but the quality are not so good in some of the brands. 

I bought few products from a pharmacy which has the brand called Ulta3. They have many products at a affordable price. The product are

1) Concealer stick in shade medium

The concealer is smooth and has medium coverage. The concealer is build- able and blends easily. The price is AUD 5.95. The only bad thing the product is less but for the price its worth it. Must try it. They have only 3 shades so the shades that fits you is hard to get.  The pics are taken without flash.

       

2) Ulta3 lipstick

The lipstick is a matte one and the color so good. The color is coral and stays for a pretty good time. The price is AUD 3. Will review its lasting power after using it.

 

The other brand is Essence. This brand has many awesome products and the quality is so good. I bought many products before and I loved it. I like their eyeliners and mascara. The products I bought are

1) Essence long lasting eyeliner in color cool down.
Its a pretty royal blue color with a sheen to it. Its so creamy and last long.
2) Essence eyeliner in color Its all me.
Its a like a beige color. I cannot use white eyeliner because it looks odd on me. My eyes are not bright white they are dull white in color so I prefer beige color to give a awaken eyes.

           

The price is AUD 2.50. The swatches are below. They are well pigmented and glides easy on my eyes.

             

3) Essence all about matt

Its is a finishing powder to mattify your face. Its their season collection called 50's. I haven't tried the product so will give a review on it in detail. The price is AUD 4. 

                     

The pics shown below the powder blended. The left side is without flash and right side is with flash. 

           

I am going to do a detailed review on each after testing it out and check their lasting capacity. Please leave your comments below.

Its time for a review. I am so excited about the product. I did lot of research before buying this product. I was so eager to buy a illuminator which gives me the glow rather than having junks of shimmer in it. I have used powder illuminator but I want try cream one. The product is Face of Australia mineral therapy illuminatore in the color angel glow which is a gold / bronze color.

This product promises to give gorgeously glowing skin with Light-reflecting illuminating liquid for the face and body to create a gorgeous sheen with a touch of colour.

Features & Benefits

• Pure mineral formula with Jojoba, Vitamin C & E

to protect and nourish the skin.

• Pearlised, light-reflecting formula

• Suitable for sensitive skin

I tried this product and I am loving it it gives me a glow and sheen to my face. The applicator is just a normal tube. The product is creamy/ watery consistency. 

The product with flash

The cream without flash. Once you blend the product it leaves a nice glow to the skin and blends well into the skin.

Pros:

Has a creamy consistency 

Glides on to the skin easily

The product comes in 50ml so its going to last for a looooong time

Cons:

The cream dries quickly so u have to work soon

I would recommend this product to everyone. It can be a highlighter for tan skintone and can be used as a bronzer for fair skin type. 

VERDICT: 5/5 

Love this worth the price and excellent quality. Keep up your quality Face of Australia.
